Hello Guys. today we gonna see how to hide Files And Folders With Command Promt, This is a very simple trick and 100% working in windows.


Earlier we already saw How to Create Password protected files/Folders without software , Today we will see how to hide Files and Folders with Command promt. If you have any personal or confidencial data in your pc and you dont wanna let other to peep it. then this trick will be very helpfull to you.


Follow the Below Simple Steps :-


For instance: Say you have a folder with name "Photos" which is stored in drive " D " and you think strangers should not see this folder then to hide that folder do the followings.

STEPS :

Press Windows key + Run , Run command will appear.
In that type cmd and press enter.

This will open Command prompt ,Now Type


    "attrib +s +h D:\Photos"



Then press enter.


Thats it your folder is now hidden, if not then there will be some mistake done by you. (you will have to change the directory accordingly.

Once hidden it cannot be viewed by any search option.

Now to unhide it again, simply use the same command but replace '+' with '-' on both flags 's' and 'h' (For eg : "attrib -s -h D:\Photos" )

You can also use this log to see how long someone was on the computer.

Just look at the time the computer was turned on and off for that day.

At the age of 16, James was the first juvenile convicted and sent to prison for hacking. James targeted high-security organizations for his hacking amusement. James served a six-month sentence under house arrest, although an adult convicted of his crimes would serve a 10-year sentence.


2) Adrian Lamo

Lamo, known as the homeless hacker because he used public connections at libraries and Internet enabled coffee houses, committed hacking crimes involving penetration testing, finding security gaps in a company's computer system. He accessed personal information, such as social security numbers, and then brazenly informed his victims, including The New York Times, Yahoo!, Citigroup and Microsoft, of their system flaws. After his conviction,

Lamo paid a $65,000 fine and sentenced to two years probation after serving home confinement for six months.


3) Kevin Mitnick

First arrested at the age of 17, Mitnick eventually became the most wanted computer criminal in the country. Mitnick hacked the systems of such well-known companies as Motorola, Fijitsu and Novell for the purpose of stealing software and damaging their machines. His final arrest came in 1995, and he served four years for computer crimes. Mitnick authored two books, including "The Art of Intrusion." Hollywood produced a movie based on his hacking activities called, "Takedown." Today, Mitnick operates a computer security firm.

4) Robert Morris
As a student in Cornell University in 1988, Robert T. Morris created the first computer worm, a virus that spreads via the Internet. His claims that the worm began simply as an experiment that spiraled out of his control did not persuade prosecutors, who pointed out the significant loss of time and money his creation caused. Morris served three years of probation along with community service and paid a fine of $10,000. Morris went on to create a company that sold online software products, which Yahoo! Purchased in 1998 for $45 million. Today, Morris works at M.I.T. as a professor in their computer science and artificial intelligence laboratory.


5) Kevin Poulsen

In 1990, radio station 102.7 FM in Los Angeles hosted a contest, awarding a free Porsche to the 102nd caller of the day. Poulsen, having already hacked into the station's phone lines arranged to become that caller. He later went on to hack computer systems of the FBI and the Defense Department. 1) Jonathan James

At the age of 16, James was the first juvenile convicted and sent to prison for hacking. James targeted high-security organizations for his hacking amusement. His conquests included the Department of Defense, NASA and the Department of Justice, where he viewed classified materials and stole software valued at $1.7 million. James served a six-month sentence under house arrest, although an adult convicted of his crimes would serve a 10-year sentence.

2) Adrian Lamo

Lamo, known as the homeless hacker because he used public connections at libraries and Internet enabled coffee houses, committed hacking crimes involving penetration testing, finding security gaps in a company's computer system. He accessed personal information, such as social security numbers, and then brazenly informed his victims, including The New York Times, Yahoo!, Citigroup and Microsoft, of their system flaws. After his conviction,

Lamo paid a $65,000 fine and sentenced to two years probation after serving home confinement for six months.

3) Kevin Mitnick

First arrested at the age of 17, Mitnick eventually became the most wanted computer criminal in the country. Mitnick hacked the systems of such well-known companies as Motorola, Fijitsu and Novell for the purpose of stealing software and damaging their machines. His final arrest came in 1995, and he served four years for computer crimes. Mitnick authored two books, including "The Art of Intrusion." Hollywood produced a movie based on his hacking activities called, "Takedown." Today, Mitnick operates a computer security firm.

4) Robert Morris

As a student in Cornell University in 1988, Robert T. Morris created the first computer worm, a virus that spreads via the Internet. His claims that the worm began simply as an experiment that spiraled out of his control did not persuade prosecutors, who pointed out the significant loss of time and money his creation caused. Morris served three years of probation along with community service and paid a fine of $10,000. Morris went on to create a company that sold online software products, which Yahoo! Purchased in 1998 for $45 million. Today, Morris works at M.I.T. as a professor in their computer science and artificial intelligence laboratory.

5) Kevin Poulsen

In 1990, radio station 102.7 FM in Los Angeles hosted a contest, awarding a free Porsche to the 102nd caller of the day. Poulsen, having already hacked into the station's phone lines arranged to become that caller. He later went on to hack computer systems of the FBI and the Defense Department. Increasing PC speed through Virtual memory Without any Software

Normally the virtual memory of the Pc is Set to 16 MB minimum but we can increate it.

I know many of you must be tired after seeing your computer’s speed, here’s what I would suggest you to go through these simple steps to make your computer faster. They helped me in making my computer comparatively faster.


 Tips To speedup Your Computer

1) Clean Temporary Files: Windows applications and windows itself store temporary files in dedicated temporary folder. You should empty this folder time by time. Go to start –> Run and type %temp% , Delete all files of temporary folder. Note: Some files can not be deleted if they are in use. So it’s fine even if they are there.

2) Disable Indexing: Indexing files and folder allows you to search faster, but windows uses CPU and memory for indexing. Disabling it will speed up your windows. (will decrease windows inbuilt search speed). To disable file indexing, right click the drive and choose properties from the menu. At bottom uncheck Allow indexing option and press OK.

3) Disk Cleanup: You should clean all unnecessary files with the disk. This includes windows error reports, temporary internet files etc. Right click any partition and click properties. Further click Disk Cleanup and clean files.

4) Defragmentation of Harddisk: Defragment arranges all data on hard disk partition in such way that it can be fetched speedy. So data reading will be faster. So it will improve your windows performance.

In windows 7, go to start menu and type dfrgui.exe and press enter.choose partition to defrag, press analyze and defrag it later.

For older windows versions, right click my computer and choose Manage. In Disk section you will see an option to defrag.

5) Increase Page File Size: Page file is virtual RAM. Increase page file size will allow you to load huge program file in memory. Though increasing page file will help a little in speed up tasks.

In start menu right click my computer icon and choose properties.Go to advanced tab or click Advanced system settings (Vista and Windows 7).Click settings button under performance. Go to advanced tab under performance settings. Under Virtual memory section click Change button and change the values as per your requirement per drive.

6) Registry Cleanup: Junk and invalid registry keys make windows slow. A registry cleaner freeware e.g. Wise registry cleaner or shareware e.g. Tuneup utilities.

7) Disable Unnecessary Startup items: Unnecessary start up items will slow down your windows start up as well as they will slow down windows performance until they are running in background. To remove start up items, go to Start—>Run, type msconfig and press enter. Go to startup tab and check for unwanted start up programs. Uncheck them and exit all windows accepting changes.

8)Turn off system sounds: Why should we engage our processor in playing sounds while browsing folder or giving error when it has to do other important work ? So the last but not the least would be disabling Windows sounds. To disable windows sound go to control panel , in hardware and sound, you will find an option “change system sounds” under Sound division. Remove all sounds that are just unnecessary.

3) Rename cmd.exe to sethc.exe.

4) Copy the new sethc.exe to system 32,when windows asks for overwriting the file,then click yes.

5) Now Log out from your guest account and at the user select window,press shift key 5 times.

6) Instead of Sticky Key confirmation dialog,command prompt with full administrator privileges will open.

7) Now type “ NET USER ADMINISTRATOR "zzz" where “zzz" can be any password you like and press enter.

8) You will see “ The Command completed successfully" and then exit the command prompt and login into administrator with your new password.


9) Bravo !! Now You have hacked admin through guest account.

Method 2
This is another method you can use to hack admin password without knowing it.
It is possible to change Adminstrator password both in Win XP and Vista without knowing it. If you some how manage to login as an Administrator then you can change the password without knowing it.

Here’s the Step-By-Step instructions.
1. Right-click on the “My Computer” icon on the desktop OR in the Start Menu.

2. Select the option “Manage”.

3. On the left pane expand the “Computer Management (Local) tree (if it is not already expanded)

4. Double click “Local Users and Groups” option From “System Tools” tree.

5. Click the “Users” option.

6. Now you will see the list of users on the right side pane, such as Administrator, Guest etc.

7. Right click the “Administrator” and select the option “Set Password” option.

8. Now you will see a warning message, Click on proceed.

9. Now the system asks you for “New Password” and “Confirm Password” .

10. After entering the password click on “OK”. The password is changed. That’s It!..

you have now successfully changed admin password without knowing it.

In such situation what you do is replace the old modem with a new one.

Step 1: Take a beer or Coke CAN which you used in Past and clean it with water. Dry it and remove the Sticky Pull tab From the can.
